My first grouping of paintings

My most recent artwork, is actually my first grouping painting. I have been wanting to do a grouping of paintings for awile now. The look interesting when you hang them on the wall with a little bit of space in between them. Then it loks like the painting is flowing across the space. I painted this for a co-worker. She just moved into a new place and needed some art to cover her bare walls. It matched her decor perfectly and she was really pleased.

I hate wasting paint, so with the left over paint from her painting I made this. It is on an 9 x 11 piece of canvas paper. I told her she could use it as a matte to a photo to place in a frame.

Now that I have some more free time, I have been painting more lately. My goal is to sell my work and see it in art galleries and museums. If you know anyone who wants some custom art, please contact me through emailing me on my contact page on my website. www.pameladintzner.com

Abstract Candles...In Progress

Here is a sneak look at a painting that I am painting for a friend, that's in progress. This will be my first abstract painting. I am really excited about it because you can let your imagination run wild. There is no right and wrong with abstract painting.

In addition to acrylic paints, I am using a few products that change the texture of the paint. I am working with airbrush medium, gloss gel, and a few thickening products. When I am done the candles will be 3D and literally you will be able to touch them. It will look like real melting wax.

This painting is for a friend. I sell all of my paintings so if you are interested in a previous painting or you'd like me to paint you an original please contact me by commenting below. Or you can contact me through my website www.pameladintzner.com.

Nail Polish Rack

I recently purchased this nail rack for $29.95 from Premier Nail Source. I needed something to organize all of my nail polishes. This nail rack is perfect because not only does it organize my nail polishes but they are all visually available. My favorite nail polish brand is OPI! Although all summer long I couldn't live without Essie's fierce fuscia on my toes :)

Andrew Belle - "Static Waves (Feat. Katie Herzig)" - Official Music Video

I am so in love with this song that I came across. I have been humming it all day at work. My patients must think I take happy pills. I have never even heard of this singer before, but I am so glad I found him. He kinda sounds like John Legend. I am thinking about putting this song on the home page of my website. I want something that will appeal to all audiences. What do you think?

I painted this one Sunday afternoon. I am able to paint a lot more now that I have some more free time on my hands.

The problem is I need ideas on what to paint. Comment on what I should paint next. Also this painting needs a name. Help me name it!

Sarah THE BRIDE
Jiazi Li THE PHOTOGRAPHER
United Artists HAIR SALON
Pamela Dintzner THE MAKEUP

Before

After

"The makeup was beyond amazing! If you need any references feel free to use me!" says Sarah, in a post wedding email.

At last, the moment you've all been waiting for.....The Bride! This is Sarah. I met Sarah through a former co-worker of mine. I scheduled a trial with her a few months before the wedding. She liked the results and hired me to do her makeup for her and her bridesmaids for her June wedding.

The wedding party got ready at United Artists. Everyone's hair looked absolutely amazing and I recommend this hair salon for any Connecticut bride.  They let me set up a makeup station right in the salon. I basically was on display in the front window. It was amazing! I was able to use their chair, which was so convenient because I could adjust the height of the chair. Needless to say I didn't have to bend or slouch while doing makeup. That chair really saved a post wedding makeup backache. The salon itself was so cute! It had a glamourous, but home feel. There was coffee brewing and fresh pastries offered to clients. The staff was highly skilled and very accommodating.

Jiazi Li was the photographer for the wedding, who supplied me with theses beautiful images of me in action. She was so professional and payed close attention to details. She worked diligently and quietly, it was like she wasn't even there. I was surprised when I saw the edited images. I loved how she put the images photos within the photos, so creative.

For more information on these fabulous vendors please contact me. To schedule a trial for your wedding or to inquire about my services you can contact me through my website which will be up and running this week. Once my website is up and running I will post a link on my blog so check back frequently.

Dream. Believe. Achieve. Succeed.

So a new chapter has started in my life. I thought a blog would be a great way to capture every detail of this new chapter.

I recently graduated from college and I feel like anything is possible now. I worked so hard to get to this point in my life. I made many sacrifices, but I have no regrets, and each sacrifice I made, I now know it was worth it.

It wasn't easy juggling a full time job, school full time and being a single mother. I had a lot of support along the way, and I am so grateful for the encouragement and help my family gave me.

A gift I got from my graduation party was a frame from one of my classmates. It was a picture of me from our pinning ceremony. The frame was engraved and it read Dream. Believe. Achieve. Succeed. Those four words have inspired me to go after my dreams.

What are your dreams? Follow my blog to see what my dreams are....
